Lights, Camera, Action! The Newscast Edition
This program is a great way to introduce young learners to the core elements of acting and storytelling techniques. Each participant will have an opportunity to act as a newscaster in an imaginary television studio newsroom. We will use fun and simple scripts to help us transform into characters while reporting on the weather, sports, events, and breaking news!
This is a unique chance to be guided and coached by a professional actor who is active in the film industry and brings lots of real-world expertise to share with students. This workshop-style program is designed for students who are new to being on-camera or those who want to develop their confidence and audition skills further.
Learners will create characters, trust their instincts, use their playfulness and creativity while interacting with others in real time and making friends.
