Asante Tracey Aug 10, 2021 Asante Tracey Asante claims roots in small-town western Canada, where his passion for storytelling was born. Now having been a resident of Toronto for more than a decade, Asante continues this pursuit, being fortunate enough to take part in numerous projects from both stage to screen. Such credits include Stargate, Taken, Mouthpiece, the world premiere of one of Tennessee Williams’ lost works, The Big Game, an award-winning performance in The Fringe premiere of Grey and The Bulldog Effect, a Sci-Fi series co-written, co-produced and co-starred in by Asante. Asante is also a graduate from the prestigious Teacher Education program at York University as a history and drama major, and a proud teacher with the Toronto District School Board. Asante’s passion for art and education is largely inspired by his thirst for adventure- living out real-life odysseys summitting mountains, diving oceans, jumping from planes and exploring every corner of this great abyss we call planet Earth. Most recently, Asante has begun forging his way into the action performing world, and excitedly awaits the adventures in store for him there. As a committed and passionate mentor, storyteller, and social activist, he is excitedly anticipating a bright and fulfilling future sharing his passions the world over.
